Apple has seeded the iOS 4.3 Gold Master 8F190 build to the iOS platform beta testers and registered developers. The Gold Master is usually the final build unless there is any major issue to be addressed. Apple iOS 4.3 is scheduled to release on March 11. While we anxiously wait for it, Cult of Mac reported that enthusiastic iOS hackers have devised a jailbreak for iPhone 4 and fourth generation iPod touch. Do note that this jailbreak is tethered and requires a PC or Mac to reboot the device for functioning normally.
Apple previewed the iOS 4.3 with a slew of new features at the launch of iPad 2 tablet. Few hours after the event, Apple seeded the iOS 4.3 build 8F190 to the iOS platform developers for last minute testing.
In the meantime, four iOS platform enthusiasts figured out a tough way to jailbreak iOS 4.3 Gold Master build. Yes, that indeed was quick. However, the methods to jailbreak iPad, iPod touch 4G and iPhone 4 are not as easy as they sound. Support for more devices would be added over a period of time. For those who want to jailbreak their device should stay away from installing the iOS 4.3 update.
