Dell XCD35 smartphone has been launched yesterday by Dell India General Manager Consumer and SMB, Dell India Mahesh Bhalla.The Dell XCD28 and Dell XCD 35 are not made by Dell, but just branded by the company. These are originally made by a company called ZTE. These handsets are also available in India – the XCD28 is called the ZTE Racer and the XCD35 is known as the ZTE Blade. The handsets are sold under various brand names in other countries as well.

In addition to the features present on the XCD28, the XCD35 also has built-in GPS, with sat-nav capabilities. Dell XCD35 also comes with touch screen display but bigger with 3.5 inch. Dell XCD35 is powered by Android 2.1 OS. They have all the latest technologies such as supports 3G, Bluetooth and WiFi. The device includes 150MB internal memory, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G, USB, and SatNav connectivity options as well as supports up to 32GB microSD card slot.

The device measures 116 x 56.5 x 11.8 and Weight 130g. It provides up to 9 days stand by time and 4 hours talk time. The DELL XCD35 Smartphone will be available in December at the price tag of Rs. 16,990 in India.

Dell XCD 35 is the handset from the US based computer manufacturers which run on an android 2.1 operating system with 600 MHz processor. With amazing sleek looks and attractive features, this handset can be considered as one of best produced by dell.

Dell XCD 35 rightly lives up to its name as it provides a 3.5 inch OLED display screen with 480×800 pixel resolution whereas Nokia N8 offers just around 640×360 pixels of resolution. Someone who is looking for a phone with a great camera, this handset might not be the right choice as it is equipped with a 3.2 MP camera with ordinary image clarity.

Dell XCD35 can accommodate internal space only up to 256MB which is far less than the 8 GB provided by Samsung I9000 Galaxy. But the fact that this handset has an expandable memory space up to 32 GB covers up for the low internal memory.

XCD 35 weighs around 130g which is much heavier than its partner XCD 28 which weighs around 100g.Other features offered are Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth, FM radio and satnav connectivity option. There is no availability Of GPS navigation system making XCD35 lack behind from its competitors like Sony ericsson Xperia and HTC desire. The music player is good but not as good as one would expect from a phone that is priced at this cost.

Overall, this seems like a good handset to buy but not for those who are focused on a phone with an efficient camera. If you are a professional looking for a business phone, then this handset will perfectly fit into your lifestyle.
