Nokia 5228 Review

Nokia 5228 is a mid-range smartphone presented by the manufacturer in June of this year. It is a model that goes to enlarge the family of phones dedicated to lovers of music providing the user the ability to listen to your favorite tunes anywhere, thanks to long battery life. So Nokia 5228 it is quite similar to the popularNokia 5800 XpressMusic in its features and design. 
It is a GSM Quadband phone working with frequencies 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 MHz and providing an excellent reception almost worldwide, although it lacks the support UMTS. As for surfing the Internet, the mobile phone is equipped with OSS web browser, but it unfortunately doesn’t have a built-in modem for Wi-Fi connection.
The first is most interesting feature of Nokia 5228 is undoubtedly the touchscreen, which enables quick access to various intuitive menus. There is also a built-in accelerometer that allows to display web pages in landscape mode by simply rotating the phone.

For the transfer of data over the Internet, the Nokia 5228 is equipped with the GPRS, EDGE and HSCSD, then speed is not so high but it can be anything up to 296 kbps. To synchronize data with other devices, are the USB port and Bluetooth. Finally, the smartphone is based on Symbian OS 9.4 S60 fifth edition.
In the area of recreation and entertainment, the Nokia 5228 has a built-in camera that is not particularly advanced – 3.2-megapixel resolution, which can take pictures with a maximum resolution of 2048×1536 pixels and of making movies with video resolution up to 640×480 . The camera also has digital zoom up to 3x, CMOS sensor, panoramic mode, several scene modes, photo editor and a dedicated key.
Regarding the multimedia features, this phone is equipped with a media player that supports audio and video files in popular formats including MP3, AAC, AAC +, WMA, MP4, MPEG4, 3GPP, WMV9 and CIF, and an FM radio with RDS. And ‘this is also a 3.5mm audio jack so you can use your own headphones you like.
The Nokia 5228 also has features more closely related to calling, such as speakerphone, vibration, up to 1000 phonebook contacts, voice tags, and then the calendar, a clock, alarm clock, voice recorder and other . Not lack of support for SMS, MMS and multimedia to those e-mails to keep in touch with friends.
Finally, as regards, however, saving photos, videos, songs and more, this smartphone has an internal memory of 70 MB, further expandable microSD cards up to 16 GB.
