Choose the best Related Post Plugin for WordPress

Related post plugins may create some site engagement and hence generate some extra quality traffic and reduces bounce rate. I have launched this site last month and continuously improving this blog. Now I have some traffic on the blog, I am continuously posting on the blog (about 2 post per day) Which is not a lot. But I think it’s better, since it will engage my visitors to visit my site regularly and its also one of the best policy to blogging.

I have recently installed some plugins like Hello Bar and Linkwithin. these are the two most popular plugins in current blogging fashion and offer some simple but great functionality. In this post I will share 3 best related post  add ons  for WordPress blog.

1. Yet Another Related Post Plugin: YARP is one of the best WordPress plugin with lot of customizations but this plugin is not recommended by most of SEO professionals, because this plugin uses a lot of server resources. If you are using a shared server or just started blogging, this plugin may be good for you, but if you have a lot of traffic this plugin my create some problems. So, the choice is yours.

This is the best post related add-on in terms of relevancy to the post and speed both. The only limitation with this plugin is that one can’t customise a lot. This plugin is in Google Lab and an invitation based add-on. The minimum number of posts required to take part in the program is 500. If you have less than 500 posts you may not be invited. However performance of the plugin is very fast and it searches google database for related post instead of searching your WordPress Database.

3. Linkwithin: Linkwithin is another good option for similar post. Its performance is between Google Related post and YARP. If you have some good traffic and enough post on your blog you should try for this, until you are not invited by Google. This is the reason why I have installed Linkwithin to my blog.

4.  Related Posts Slider: Related post slider is lightweight jQuery based  related post plugin which beautiful slider format, either in news style or in horizontal carousel format. It is compatible with YARP.

5. Outbrain Related Links Widgets: Outbrain is now one of the most popular off-site related link plugin after linkwithin. blogs like Mashable is using their services. The one  interesting  thing I found is if you have relatively low traffic site they it will will not perform fast during redirecting to the link and stuck some times. However you may install it and also have  opportunity  to make some money from Outbrain.

6. Nrelate is another related post plugin for  WordPress  which allows you to show related posts in your blog. This plugin has a lot of features and  customization  compared to any other similar plugin. This plugin also allow to earn money but the  amount  is low as compared to Outbrain.
