Huawei Ideos X5 Review

Huawei had already announced the Ideos X5 to be hitting the market earlier this month. The specs for the phone which didn't come with the announcement have been revealed through different sites on the web.

Ideos X5 will be running on Android 2.2 Froyo but might get some Gingerbread love pretty soon. The phone is said to be supporting Flash Player 10.1 and will have the Aldiki e-book reader app pre-installed. The handset will also be supported by Google so it will have Gmail, Google Search, Google Maps and Google Talk as well, along with access to the Android Market.
Ideal for India? Let's see...

Ideos X5 also has the following specs:
  • 3.8 inch capacitive multi-touch display at 800 x 480
  • 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, auto-focus and 720p video recording
  • HSDPA and HSUPA, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, A-GPS
  • Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP support
  • 3.5mm headphone jack
While all these specs seem to be pretty decent, the in-built memory and processor hasn’t been specified as yet. It’s being said that a 1 GHz processor will be powering the handset, but that has not been confirmed as yet.

There is no confirmation as to when and where it’s going to be launched but the phone should be previewed at CES 2011.
