Skyfire 3.0 for iPhone Released

Skyfire Labs has announced new Skyfire 3.0 for iPhone mobile web browser that brings Facebook Connect integration and a few more features. In November 2010, Skyfire 2.0 enabled streaking Flash-based videos on the iPhone and iPod touch. New Skyfire 3.0 incorporates the Facebook Like button that will let you easily 'like' or 'unlike' the page. This Facebook friendly app can be downloaded from the App Store from your iPhone or you can get it from here.



Skyfire certainly grabbed attention of many with the Flash streaming feature for the iPhone that doesn't have Flash support in mobile Safari. With this new version, Skyfire will bring support for more videos based on Flash across different websites. Skyfire now has added some interesting social media features and made it more Facebook friendly mobile browser app.

The most popular content on any site that the user's Facebook friends and contacts view would be shown in this menu option. Also one can see recommendations from friends.

Fireplace Feed Reader

Access Facebook feeds, profile and Places - the location based service without switching between Skyfire and Facebook App for iPhone.



Facebook Like Button
The Facebook Like Button is placed on every page of the Internet - at least on several thousands. Simply click on the Like button located on the SkyBar to easily "like" or "unlike" the page.

Skyfire OneTouch Search

Enter a single search term and choose between Google, Video (from VideoSurf), or Wikipedia with a single touch without the need to navigate to separate sites.

Apple's App Store already has Opera browser to compete with Mobile Safari. With the arrival of iOS 4.3 update, mobile Safari will get a speed bump with new Nitro JavaScript engine that promises to boost performance twice as fast as in iOS 4.2 update.
