A bug in Microsoft Windows is again going to trouble us

A new threat in windows by which the intruder can get access of system very easily through certain steps.According to the Microsoft blog post ,Security vulnerability is found in Microsoft operating systems such as windows XP service pack 2, windows server 2003, vista and server 2008.
Microsoft Windows

First talk about what the vulnerability, the vulnerability is in Windows Graphics Rendering Engine in which a hacker first gains access by installing a malicious power point file or a word file. This is file is actually installed by user itself as the user is tempted to be directed to site which contains malicious code in it, as Microsoft says that such content is more harmful people using  OS in which the user is accessing the Computer with administrative rights. For fixing this problem the company has already issued security advisory 2490606. And Microsoft also advised the users to download the patches released by anti-virus companies.

The anti-virus companies who feature in Microsoft Active Protections Program (MAPP) will be providing support to 1 billion customers worldwide. The company is also analyzing the threat and its scope in near future and taking necessary steps to avoid such vulnerabilities. As this vulnerability does not exists in new operating systems such as vista and windows 7.
As we are already fed up with vulnerabilities in internet explorer and such updates mostly consume more and more resources. I guess Microsoft should start their support for their older windows 95 and 98.
