Is the regular air cooling setup installed on your overclocked CPU turning your cabinet into a convection oven? You probably need to consider water cooling, especially considering our already high ambient temperatures during summer. You seem just in luck, because Antec has announced Kuhler H2O 920, which is German for cooler, and the big bore liquid cooling setup does exactly that. The H2O 920 is a completely sealed and maintenance free liquid cooling setup developed by Antec in collaboration with Asetek, which specialises in OEM liquid cooling systems.
The 920 looks similar to its younger sibling H2O 620, albeit the 920 incorporates a double-thick radiator and two 120mm PWM controlled fans cooling it in a push-pull configuration. The liquid cooling setup is more efficient, thanks to a new low-profile pump helping better circulation, easy-bend tubes for flexibility in radiator positioning, and a copper cold plate for optimal conduction.
The setup is complemented with Asetek's ChillControl V software that allows users to monitor and control temperatures, fan and pump speed, and optimise noise levels for the best balance between cooling and acoustics. The software also allows users to select and modify the Antec logo color on the pump cap to match system interiors.
The Kuhler H2O 920 CPU cooler is backed by a 3-year limited warranty and is available for pre-order on Antec s online store for a price of $119.95 (Rs. 5,400 approx.). The liquid cooler will be available from the end of April.
