BlackBerry's PlayBook : What's Inside

BlackBerry announced its plans of release of new tablet PlayBook , in competition of Apple iPad.This new gadget will be 7- inch and will be multitouch touchscreen. It will be operated on a new OS which company got because of acquisition of QNX.

On the eve of launch of the product , RIM founder Dan Dodge said "QNX is going to enable things that you have never seen before” . He also said that their new product will be incredibly attractive to gamers (both publishers and players.Presence of these two high profile personalities at the event depicts how serious is the company about the PlayBook.

As per RIM claims, the PlayBook is "Ultra-portable’ and ‘Super Convenient’,

Parent company sees the tablet as an friendly for developers too by offering Open Standards. In the release it said “a breakthrough development platform for IT departments and developers” .


Lazardis said it will be "true multi-tasking" and is "an amplified view of what's already on your BlackBerry”. Seems like company is too optimistic about the product and concerned people are of firm belief that their product is gonna revolutionize the market.

Company released product after Samsung announced its tablet The Tab.But BlackBerry will be exceptional,atleast, in its operating systems deploying its very own OS.
Company is yet to announce the pricing and release dates , but its sure it will be released in first quarter of 2011 in US and BlackBerry has plans of launching in other countries in second quarter of next year.


This new PlayBook will deploy Adobe Flash, a quality which iPad lacks and among other features it :
