October,6 launch of Logitech Google TV devices.

Logitech is ready to launch Logitech Revue TV on October 6 in New York.Earlier Sony announced to launch its devices for Google TV on Oct.12,As Google had tied-up with Sony, Logitech and Intel for hardware products for Google TV in May this year , they are competing to launch their first products for Google TV.

Logitech will launch a Google TV set-top box, that can be connected to TV through HDMI and to internet through wires or using wireless connections  ,the set top box is a small device with a 6 inch wide ,4 inch depth and a thickness of a inch.
It is embedded with 1.2 GHz Intel Processor,and 4GB of memory, two ports for both USB 2.0 and HDMI, Ethernet, audio
out and IR blaster ports .

Logitech uses Google TV interface based on android which allows you to search through TV screen and gives you easy control to content.
It is also expected to launch webcam , which is to be used to make free net-calls
from Google TV to Google TV or to computers.They may also launch remotes compatible with products of Google TV.
