Dirt 3 Limited Edition Costs $300

We loved Codemaster's Dirt 2 to death. It had great gameplay, and Ego Engine powered graphics that won't be rivaled in the next decade, if you consider the prevalent trend of sequels looking worse than the originals. But even then, we would think twice before plonking in $300 for Dirt 3 special edition Ken Block Gymkhana RC Car Bundle. The limited edition bundle, available for the consoles, includes the copy of the game, which costs $60 on its own and a 1/16 scale Ken Block Fiesta R/C car.

So you may ask, is the car worth $240? You need to check out the Gamestop page before reaching a judgement, because the Traxxas manufactured car is no toy car, but a full blooded sixteenth scale Hobby R/C racer. That means, for the money, you get a brushless motor powered, slipper clutch equipped, high torque servo controlled beast replete with a sophisticated 2.4 GHz radio and an advanced coil-over hydraulic damper based suspension system.

So if you are an R/C hobbyist, you know that $240 for that kind of setup is a fair deal. And having spent over $1,000 and counting, on my own R/C car, I can tell you that the price tag isn't nearly as exorbitant as you'd imagine.
