One phone and several names-truly global

The new Samsung GT-S5830 galaxy S Mini handset will have multiple names, this handset resembles to iPhone 4 according to the Thai website MXphone.com The operating system used by the phone will be Google Android 2.2 Froyo will be sold in India and will be named as Galaxy Cooper. Except South East Asia, in the rest of the world it will be called as Galaxy Ace. The cost of Samsung Galaxy Cooper/Ace GT-S5830 in Thailand will be 10,900 bhats and in Indian market it wil be priced around Rs 17,000.

GT-S5830 will run on 800MHz Qualcomm MSM7227-, these processors were also used in Sony Ericsson Xperia X 10 mini and Mini Pro handsets. Now talking about the memory specifications, the phone will be having 150MB memory and company will be providing a 2 GB microSD, memory card with it and with expansion up to 32 GB. There are no details of RAM.

Galaxy Cooper will be powered by Google Android 2.2.1 Froyo and can be upgraded to Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but these specs can only believed aftr the official release of smartphones. The company says the camera will be of 5 megapixel with auto focus and LED Flash, one more enhancement will be of 720p HD shooting. 

It will support wide range of networks for its operation such as quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and will also provide 7.2Mbps speed for data connectivity. It will also have Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) and Bluetooth 2.1 support. And the phone will offer FM radio which is a very popular medium of hand held entertainment in India.

I am sure the young generation of India is going to like it and it will be accepted all over the world.
