The Witcher to Release DRM Free on GoG.com

Do you love immersive RPGS? Then you owe it to yourself to try out the world of CD-Projekt Red Studio s The Witcher, which combines alchemy and monsters with the depth of moral choices that have significant effects. With the much awaited sequel set up for release, GoG.com will be offering the game for $4.99 (Rs. 225 approx.) from May 10 through 24, after which it will be sold at the regular retail price of $9.99. The best part is, like all games available from GoG.com, The Witcher will also be free of the despicable DRM nonsense.

The Witcher gained notoriety for letting your character bed women, which would then earn the player Sex Cards featuring artwork replete with women in varying extent of nakedness. The GoG.com version will feature a downloadable 12 month calendar featuring topless ladies from the game. This extra was hitherto restricted only to the Polish version of the game, but the GoG.com download will feature this rare extra along with more goodies like soundtrack, a downloadable artbook, avatars and 30 wallpapers found only in the collector s edition bundles. That s pretty good for $4.99, if you ask me.
