Nike releases Nike+ iPhone app

Nike released its Nike+ GPS, a stand alone version of Nike + iPod app. This amazing app makes use of inbuilt accelerometer and GPS to calculate speed. One can even see map of his run via Google Map. In the Google map, it shows with contrasted colors, where you ran fast and where you were slowed yourself. It locates exact points of speed changes.

The advantage with this app is , it operates without Nike+ iPod adapter. You will need iOS 3.1+ to use this app as it is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. and requires iPhone OS 3.1 or later. This app comes with other features like coaching, a hand picked song etc. All information can be uploaded on Nike+ website to compare and track with community.
This app is added on apple store on September ,6 2010. Description of the app says, "Record your pace, distance and run route using the iPhone’s GPS and accelerometer technology so you can focus on the road ahead, and relive your run later.
"
Hence this app will help you focus on your run and leave behind all tensions about your speed, calories spent etc. This app will do all calculations for you, at $2.Another good feature of the app is voice feedback. However people would recommend Nike to deploy use of PowerSong to play song based on pace.
